Two New Convertible Laptops Announced by MSI

The Taiwan-based company, MSI, that is famous for its gaming laptops, has announced two new laptops in its Summit series business line- the Summit E3 Flip Evo and Summit E16 Flip. These new additions are convertible and are powered by Intel’s Tiger Lake processors.

The feature worth noticing is the 16:10 aspect ratio, that the company says will offer 10% more visible screen than the similar 16:9 ratio. So the users will need to do less scrolling and multitask in a better way. The laptops are also compatible with MSI’s proprietary MPP 2.0 stylus that has 4,096 pressure levels.

According to a report by The Verge, “Like the rest of the Summit Series, the two models include a number of features designed for remote meetings. These include a “noise-reduction” camera and audio noise cancellation.”

MSI claims that the laptops have 20 hours battery life. They feature the Bluetooth 5.2 standards and have a port selection with two Thunderbolt 4 connectors that have  charging capabilities, a USB-C 3.2 and a USB-A 3.2 and an audio combo jack.

The E13 Flip Evo has a 13.4-inch touchscreen with a resolution of 1920X1200. It is 14.9mm thick and 13.5 kg in weight. This notebook seems to be more of a workstation device.

The E16 Flip comes with “the latest Nvidia graphics card” that will help in the tasks of content creation. MSI says that it also includes four mics for conference calls.

The present Summit E13 Flip is worth $1,599.99, but the price of E16 Flip has not been disclosed yet.
