Nokia steps into the Laptop market

After dealing in smartphones and smart TVs, Nokia is now set foot in the laptop market as well. The company has launched its first laptop, the Nokia PureBook X14. Launched in collaboration with Flipkart, this laptop is ultra-lightweight, equipped with an Intel processor, Dolby Atmos audio, and much more.

 

Nokia PureBook X14 Specifications

 

The Nokia PureBook X14 has a 14-inch LED-backlit LCD display; a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixel and Dolby Vision support. It also comes with a Windows Hello face unlock, enabled by an HD IR webcam.

 

The laptop’s body is made of Magnesium Aluminium alloy and is extremely light, with a weight of just 1.1kg and a thickness of 16.8mm. The processor is a 10th-Gen Intel Core i5 with up to 4.2GHz Turbo Boost. The RAM is 8GB 2666MHz DDR4; it has two slots and can be expanded up to 16GB. The laptop has an NVMe SSD storage of 512GB.

 

Other features of the laptop include a precision touchpad with multi-gesture support and a backlit-keyboard with 1.4mm key travel. When it comes to connectivity, the PureBook X14 offers Bluetooth 5.1 and dual-band Wi-Fi in the wireless options along with 1x USB Type-C, 2x USB 3.1, 1x USB 2.0, 1x HDMI, and an RJ45 Ethernet port. There is also one audio/mic port.

 

The laptop functions on Windows 10 operating system and has a battery life of 8 hours on a single charge. There is also a 65W power adaptor, 2 built-in speakers with Dolby Atmos audio, and 2 microphones.

 

Nokia’s first laptop, PureBook X14 is a single variant, valued at ₹59,990. It can be pre-ordered from December 18 from Flipkart.
